The afternoon my husband brought home the ducks I wondered how our rooster and hen would react. After all they've had the place to themselves for three weeks now.
After a little splash in the pool we got them out so they could walk around and check out their new environment. Pearl the hen was at the back of the chicken coop and they were around front. As you will be able to hear in the video she had a reaction. I'd never heard her cluck before, she certainly made up for lost time.

ReplyDeleteI was just looking through my Birds field guide to help you identify the little peepers, but the book doesn't show what the young of any type look like. I guess time will tell!
